Shrine (Combined) 35, St. Anne 23 ; This group of Knights captured their 4th tournament title in 2 years with a 35-23 victory over St Anne. It was Mike Niehaus and Sean Ruhle leading the defensive effort and Kenaytte Byron leading a balanced offensive attack that saw 7 different Knights score.

Shrine (Combined) 36, St. Germaine 25 ; Shrine's tough defense returned holding the Spartans to just 2 points in the first 9 minutes of the game. Asher Smith led the Knights scoring with 10 points, followed by Kenyatte Byron with 9. Mike Niehaus with 6, and Alex Schienke with 4.

St. Sebastian 32, Shrine (Combined) 29 ; The normally stingy Knights defense surrended 22 2nd half points to the Arrows for a 3 point loss. Ian Gappy led the Knights scoring with 11 points and Matt Bain added 10.

St. Hugo 23, Shrine (Trust) 22 ; St Hugo rallied from a 20-15 decifit early in the 4th quarter to take the victory in a hard fought game. Matt Bain led the Knights scoring with 10 points on 5 for 7 shooting.
Shrine (Teamwork) 23, St. Hugo 20; It was another tough game v- St Hugo with Shrine escaping with a 23-20 win. Hayden Haran played a solid 3rd quarter with a key basket and rebound. Kenyatte Byron had 7 points, 11 rebounds, and Peter Trout got Shrine started with 6 points in the 1st quarter.

Shrine (Trust) 34, OL Queen of Martyrs 14 ; The Knights defense set the tone for the game holding Martyrs to 2 first half points. Matt Bain led the Shrine scoring with 12 points and Greg Golias added 8 pts.
Shrine (Teamwork) 34, OL Queen of Martyrs 16; Kenyatte Byron had 14 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists in 18 minutes to lead the Knights to victory. Peter Trout added 6 for the Knights who improved to 12-4 for the season.

Shrine (Trust) 26, Refuge 15 ; Great defense in the 1st half and 10 points from Mike Niehuas was enough to lead the Knights to their 8th consecutive league victory.

Shrine (Teamwork) 38, Refuge 20 ; Casper Padilla's 2nd quarter basket fired up the Knights from a slow start and started the momentum to 38-20 victory. Kenyatte Byron led the scoring the 13 points and Ian Gappy added 10 pts.

Shrine (Trust) 28, Holy Name 17 ; The Knights opened the game with 17 1st quarter points on 6 for 6 FG and 5 for 6 FT shooting. Mike Niehaus led the Shrine scoring with 13 points, Brennan Carr and Matt Bain added 6 each.
Holy Name 27, Shrine (Teamwork) 26 ; For the 2nd time this season, a last minute free throw was the difference in a one point loss to Holy Name. The Knights again struggled at the free throw line shooting only 8 for 23 at the charity stripe.

Shrine (Trust) 22, St. Patrick 5 ; The Knights set the tone on this one holding the Irish scoreless in the first half. Dylan Hayes and Greg Golias led the Knights with 6 points each and Brennan Carr added 4 points.
Shrine (Teamwork) 40, St. Patrick 25 ; The Knights assisted on 12 of their 16 baskets led by great passing from Kenyatte Byron ( 6 assists) and Tom Peaslee (3 assists). Byron and Peaslee also led the scoring with 9 points each.

Shrine (Trust) 28, OLQ Martyrs 6; Greg Golias transtioned a great week at practice to his best game of the season with 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals. Matt Bain had his 6th straight game in double figures with 10 points.
Shrine (Teamwork) 36, OLQ Martyrs 16; The Knights sprinted out to a 20-2 halftime lead and cruised home with the win. Kenyatte Byron had 14 points and 9 rebounds, and Ian Gappy added 10 pts to pace the Shrine scoring.

OL LaSalette 22, Shrine (Trust) 19; LaSallette held the Knights to just 5 2nd half points and then held on for the victory. Matt Bain paced the Knights with 11 points.
Shrine (Teamwork) 32, David Ellis Acad. 22; Individual stats do not tell the story in this one but more the heart of Warriors as Shrine battled a bigger David Ellis team and held on for a tough victory and the Christmas tournament championship. Unselfish play, drawing charges, diving for loose balls, overcoming injuries, and clutch free throw shooting were key to the win.

Shrine (Trust) 26, St. Genevieve 19; A great team effort from the Knights helped avenge the miracle ending to the November 28 game at St Geneivieve, Matt Bain had 15 points for Shrine and Beck Benson added 6 points.
Shrine (Teamwork) 17, GESU 15; A great inbounds pass from Ian Gappy to Kenyatte Byron for a 3 point play with 27 seconds left gave the Knights the come from behind victory in this defensive battle in the tournament semi-final game.

Star of the Sea 23, Shrine (Trust) 21 (OT); It was a heart breaker for the Knights in the opening round of the Christmas tournament as this game went to overtime where Star of the Sea scored the last 4 points to get the win..

St Clare 20, Shrine (Teamwork) 19; St Clare C Joe McNamarya's putback with 3.7 second to go won the tournament championship game for St Clare. Tom Peaslee led Shrine with 8 pts. Shrine struggled to 9 for 50 shooting.

TeamWork played their first two games in St. Clare Montefalco this weekend.
Game 1 - Nov 20 - Shrine 34, St. Joseph 8 Shrine featured a balanced scoring attack with 6 players scoring at least 4 points, led by Kenyatte Byron with 10 points.
Game 2 - Nov 21 - Shrine 34, St. Paul 21. Kenyatte Byron scored 16 points and Peter Trout scored 6 to lead Shrine scoring. Ryan Lopp, Tom Peaslee, and Ian Gappy led the Knights defense that held St Paul to 10 points through the first 3 quarters.
