Dads' Club
The Shrine Dads' Club provides support and services to the Shrine Grade School, the Shrine Academy and the Shrine Parish. The Clubs' primary responsibility is the administration of the entire athletic program including the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) for the students and parish members.
Based upon the totally voluntary efforts of each of the coaches, the club fields 25 teams in 9 different sports and serves more than 250 athletes in 6 different grades. The Dads' Club sponsors six special basketball and volleyball tournaments and an intramural basketball program for students in grades 3 through 6. In addition, the Dads' club also provides manpower for a variety of needs throughout the Parish.
We even find time for a little recreational basketball every Tuesday and Thursday night in the Grade School gym.
Through administration, management, manpower, volunteerism and funding, the Club serves the Grade School, Academy and Parish communities with fervor and dedication. As a Parish organization we support the Master Plan and encourage our entire membership to consider their commitment to its success.
The Club meets the second Thursday of the month at 7:30 p.m. during the school year in the Parish Center. Come and join in.
