The 5th grade girls basketball team beat Marist Academy this past weekend 13-7.  It was a competitive battle, but Shrine's aggressive defensive style won out!  Great job girls!

Update 12/11/2010:
The 5th Grade Girls Basketball team won this weekend 22-0 against St.Regis.  All the girls worked really hard and everyone contributed to the win!  By pushing the ball up the court and passing around, the girls were able to get their first win of the regular season!

Lost to St. Pat's 16-12.

Update 11/28/2010:
The girls lost to St. Clare's 6th grade team in the final - brought home the runner-up plaque (2nd place overall in the tournament of 5th-6th grade teams).

Update 11/23/2010:
The Shrine 5^th Grade Girls Basketball Team got the new season off to a positive start at the St. Clare Thanksgiving Tournament.

In their first game, the Lady Knights played the host school’s 5^th Grade Team.  The outcome was fruitful as the girls finished with a 20-4 victory.  The following day the girls had another successful outing by beating Mount Clemens St. Mary’s by a score of 20-6.
